Moschino

Moschino is the vibrant Italian luxury fashion house that’s been shaking up the style scene since 1983. Founded by Franco Moschino, a painter and fashion illustrator with a knack for artistic rebellion, the brand thrives on turning convention on its head. From its earliest collections, Moschino has made a name for itself by mixing wild prints, bright colours, and witty, tongue-in-cheek details into garments and accessories that feel like wearable pop art.

But it’s not just about catching eyes; it’s about sparking conversations, whether through irreverent slogans or playful pokes at the seriousness of high fashion. With a range of lines, spanning everything from the main luxury collection, Moschino Couture, to the more accessible Moschino Cheap and Chic, and the contemporary Love Moschino, the label proves it has an ever-evolving creative spirit.

Let Them Eat Couture: Showcasing Moschino’s Marie Antoinette Inspired catwalk show

Under designers such as Jeremy Scott, Moschino has taken inspiration from everything from fast-food logos to iconic dolls, reminding us that fashion can be daring, witty, and above all, fun. By embracing satire and bold storytelling, Moschino continually invites fashion lovers everywhere to join in on the joke while still donning some of the most inspired looks on the runway.

At Not Studio, we were thrilled to be invited by Nordstrom to create this catwalk film for Moschino’s show, where we captured the electric atmosphere leading up to the main event. The brand’s devoted fans set the tone with their own impromptu street catwalk, proving that Moschino’s playful spirit resonates far beyond the runway.

Once inside, the spectacle reached new heights with a decadent 18th-century theme inspired by Marie Antoinette, complete with pastel-powdered hair, sumptuous fabrics, and exuberant cake dresses that perfectly reflected Jeremy Scott’s flair for theatricality.

Moschino - Milan Fashion Week Catwalk Shoot

As a London-based creative agency we are renowned for our collaborative, comprehensive approach to fashion film, brand identity, web design, and storytelling, we relished the chance to showcase Moschino’s audacious vision.

Our cameras followed every flourish, spotlighting the grandeur and wit that define this iconic house, and weaving it all into a captivating narrative fit for one of fashion’s most beloved rule-breakers.
